Chris Hartsfield, AIA
Principal
Because of his strong organizational skills, Chris has been selected to be project architect on some of the firm’s most complex projects including Hillside Auditorium at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and the New Residential Halls & Dining Facility at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. His diverse architectural skills and knowledge make him perfect for overseeing coordination with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers as well as conducting job site inspections for compliance with construction drawings.
Chris has been at Allison + Partners since 2001. He has performed a range of services from project architect to construction administration. Originally appointed as team leader for construction documentation, he now supervises the documentation department in addition to training new interns. Chris’s architectural experiences consist of higher education, government, and parks & recreational facilities.

John Allison
Founder, Architect Emeritus
John has almost 40 years of professional experience as a licensed architect in Arkansas and neighboring states. After 14 years with the multi-discipline firm that he co-founded, John formed Allison Architects, Inc. at the end of 1995 to concentrate on providing responsive and personalized Architectural, Planning and Interior Design services. In 2016, the firm was renamed Allison + Partners to reflect one of its most valuable characteristics: the spirit of partnership with clients.Since the inception of the firm, Allison Architects has been recognized for its thoughtful and responsive design and received multiple design awards from the American Institute of Architects and other professional associations.

Sarah Goss, ASID
Principal, Director of Interiors
As director of Allison + Partners' interior design department since March 2006, Sarah provides dedication to excellence and responsive service. In addition to space planning and tenant finish out, her capabilities include early coordination with architectural design and materials, furniture selection, and installation observation. She is accomplished in a range of project types including hospitality, institutional, and educational.
Sarah has completed Interior Design for Chicot Elementary School, Wakefield Elementary School, Rector High School Recreation Building, William F. Laman Public Library Addition, Duncan Avenue Apartments, and Willard J. Walker Hall at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

Sheila Brown, CCCA
Sheila has been the Office Administrator since May 2007. Her responsibilities include financial management of the firm, marketing materials, contract administration, writing specifications and assisting the architects with project management, such as preparation of project manuals and change orders.

Kortney DeRouen
Kortney joined the firm as an office assistant in September 2015. Her strong interpersonal skills and warm personality provide a welcoming greeting for the firm. Her responsibilities also include assistance with specifications, contract administration, office organization, and IT assistance. She also supports the design team during construction management.
